The other day we pulled a baby gift out of the closet for the first time. Jean and I would both like to Thank Meranda, Ryan, and Ryella for the gift, as well as give them a stern look for buying something that does NOTHING but make noise. Its a musical activity center that is on legs so Wyatt can stand up to it and play with it. The first thing we noticed when we put the legs on and set it up (even though we noticed the box says for 12+ months) is that its too short already!! Wyatt loves beating and banging on this thing, and in the last week or two, has already worn out the batteries. The big question now, should we replace them??
The last time we went grocery shopping we bought a tub of pre-made pudding. The purpose of this was not for our consumption but for that of something for Wyatt to play with and maybe do some art with. As much as he loved playing with it, I saw fear, worry, concern, and many other emotions cross Jeans face. None were because of Wyatts well being, but because of the mess that he was creating. I however, was not worried. I was going out to the garage as soon as he was done!
For your viewing pleasure, a short video of the event.
Another video we have been meaning to share with you all, is Wyatt finding his shoe basket. He loves pulling them out to play with them, and I have to say, the game we have come up with does make me smile as well.
Today, Wyatt wanted to help out with some household chores we were doing. He found it to be his job to help dad with some work stuff, and go through the blueprints for an upcoming project. As much as I appreciate his help, and attention to detail on this, I think I am still waiting for one page to "come to pass". Just kidding!
Wyatt has also become very well read lately. No matter how often we put them away, he always pulls his books back out and flips through them. He has told me that he is working on a theory of a car that runs on water or something like that. At least I think that what he said. He gets into that technical jargon and it all seems like a different language to me!
We also had a quick lesson on fishing this evening. From as near as I can tell, the reason I havent been catching fish has to do with my legs actually coming over the front of the seat, and I have the boat in the water. Just a guess.
