Tonight was a big night. Wyatt has found a way to increase mobility. I am trying to avoid saying it, but, the truth is, Wyatt is crawling.
On a different note, as bath time rolled around on Thursday, I grabbed the camera and snapped a few photos that turned out pretty nice.

Another weekend down
The events of the past weekend are less than blog-worthy, but I think everyone deserves an update.
On Friday, we all headed down to Cold Spring for Jean to attend her sisters Daisy Blue Naturals party. Jean stayed upstairs for the party, as Wyatt and I hid out downstairs until all the women left. Saturday morning Jean and all her sisters headed down to the cities to go shopping together. Thanks to all of you for your help with Jeans shopping!! While they were gone for the day, Wyatt and I hung out with Grandpa Ken, and after she got off work, Grandma Mary.
Saturday night we headed over to Foley for the night, as Grandpa and Grandma Kaproth were getting home from their cruise, and needed a little Wyatt time. Sunday morning, they finally got that. We hung out in Foley for lunch, and a visit with Great-Grandma Dolores, before heading for home. Wyatt had a great weekend, and little was astonishing.
After we got home on Sunday, Wyatt started up with a little different action that we are used to. Late last week, Wyatt had on a few occasions uttered "MAMAMAMAMA" or "DADADADA", but on Sunday evening, "DADADADADADADADADA!!!" was everywhere!!! Not only that, Wyatt, after about a week of coaxing by his parents, had started to clap.

our uneventful weekend events...
Our weekend was one of the few that we did not end up with something planned. Friday night we layed low around the house, with all three of us calling it an early night. Saturday, we decided to run into Duluth to pick up a few of those things that were starting to get scarce around the house. Wyatt did wonderful all day considering he was seldom out of his carrier. On Sunday, Wyatt slept until nearly 7am. Unless we take into consideration the fact of daylight savings time.....then he was up by his usual pre-6am smiles. Sunday we spent the day around the house again, doing odd jobs, and ran to get some groceries. We also took some time to swap out the car seats. Wyatts carrier/base combo was swapped with his "big boy carseats" in both vehicles. As this will probably be easier in the long run, its also a sign that our little guy is getting to be a big guy very quickly. Wyatt also spent some time outside today. I think he was more than slightly confused as to what all was going on, but we got a nice walk in with him anyway.
As I said, I don't think he was thrilled, but it was fresh air
Almost forgot to mention it, and another thing we probably would not have mentioned or blogged, but I was here anyway. On Saturday both Wyatt and dad got new shoes. Guess who is who in this picture?
I know! I almost couldn't tell a difference either!!!

Quick little update on some exciting (but nerve racking) news
Just a quick note that I felt was worth blogging.
Jean dropped Wyatt off at daycare today, and his teacher Susan asked if we were the type of the parents that didn't want to know if he did something at daycare. Jean told her, no, we want to know, and are not the parents that wish to think that every "first" is going to happen right in front of them.
At this point, Susan says, "Wyatt will be crawling soon. Yesterday he was on all fours rocking back and forth."
As exciting as this news is, its also very nerve racking to think that soon Wyatt will be even more mobile than he already is with rolling from point A to point B in about 2 seconds.
On another note, something that would have gone unblogged, but since I am here anyway......
The last two mornings, as Wyatt woke up in the morning, he woke us in the usual manner of just playing and talking in his crib until we go in to get him. However, the last two days were notable by the fact that both mornings, Wyatt was in his crib, with his pajamas fully zipped and buttoned up, but one arm worked loose and coming out the neck hole. Wyatt "Houdini" Kaproth, or Wyatt "Tarzan" Kaproth, its up for a vote now.....

Weekend in review
Well, I want to start a little before the weekend. On Friday, we had Wyatts 6 month appointment. As a new parent this is a feeling that is hard to comprehend. Our baby is 6 months old. As I picked him up at the daycare, his had a light rattle in his chest that had been there a few days now, but had really progressed. Not good to hear, but he was very happy, and as I said, we were going to the doctor anyway.
Now, in case you are not aware, his doctor is at the same clinic that Jean works at. This means that as soon as Wyatt hits the door, he is swarmed and surrounded by women. Like a champ, he plays it up to no end, and flirts his way through the crowd.
Wyatt is now 27" long (75 percentile), 20# 9oz. (90 percentile), and has a head circumference of 18" (90 percentile).
Dr. Schaefer also listened to his chest and lungs, and feels it is just an upper respiratory "thing", and leaned away from RSV. Her recommendation was to get him back on the nebulizer that we had from his scare a month or two ago. We gave him one treatment of the Neb before we left the clinic, and she had another listen. She was very pleased with the difference after just one treatment. This adds to our daily routine, but it really does seem to make a big difference.
On Saturday, the family ventured out to Superior High School for a departure ceremony for the 950th clearance group. One of Jeans co-workers (Danielle) had invited us to attend as her husband is going to Iraq for 13 months. Thank you Billy for serving our country, and thank you Danielle, Bryce and Madison for giving Billy to our country for the next 13 months!
Saturday night we had a visit from Kari. She was coming for the night to visit, and Wyatt again flirted his night, and the following sunday morning away.

Wyatt also learned a new game on Sunday, and it was so much fun, we wanted to share it with all of you!
